Can I insure my household goods during the move?

  • Yes, you can take out insurance for your household goods.
  • The cost is 0.8% of the selected insured value.

Can I choose a higher insurance coverage?

  • Yes, if you would like a higher level of coverage, please inform us.
  • This must be done no later than one week before packing begins.

Are all items covered by the insurance?

  • Most standard household items are covered.
  • TVs, monitors, and similar electronics are only covered for visible damage.
  • Damage where electronics no longer function, but show no visible signs of damage, is not covered.
  • Refrigerators and freezers are also not covered for mechanical or functional failures, as they may be affected by transportation even without visible damage.
  • Incorrect or insufficient packing may affect insurance coverage.

What should I do if damage occurs?

  • Damage must be reported within 3 business days after unpacking.

  • We will assist you with the claims process.

📄 Documentation in Case of Damage

  • Take photographs of the damage as soon as possible.
  • Keep all packaging materials and damaged items until the claim has been processed.
  • Send us a description of the damage.

💰 Insured Value

  • You are responsible for declaring the correct value of your household goods.
  • Underestimating the value may result in reduced compensation.

  • Hidden defects in items.
  • Household goods packed inadequately or unsafely.
  • Cash, securities, and personal documents.
